Moroccan Beef Crockpot Stew with Okra Now that I have made it twice this month, I have stablized the recipe. In Morocco this is made in a tagine, but I don't have one yet. 1 lb Beef stew meet, cut into 1" cubes 1 lb can Crushed tomatoes 1 tbsp. Pensey's BERBERE seasoning (Ras El Hanout) 1 tbsp. Harrisa (Tunisian chile paste) seasoning 1 cup whole Olives 1 lg Onion cut in quarters 1 cinnamon stick 5 cloves, Garlic diced 1/2 lb. Fresh Okra 1/2 cup, Raisins 1. Dump everything except okra and raisins in 4-quart crock pot. You do not need to brown the meat. 2. Cook on high for 5 hours. Add okra and raisins and cook for couple more hours. It's done when the meat is tender. 3. Serve with rice or couscous.
